ElSTMDRAGON STM-R97 Automatic Spindle Rotary Face Veneer Peeling Lathe is designed for high-precision rotary peeling of face veneer from large-diameter logs. It is suitable for wood species such as poplar, birch, beech, and other suitable veneer logs used in plywood, furniture, decorative veneer, and woodworking applications.
The vertical configuration can process logs up to 1500 mm maximum diameter and produce veneer from 0.1–2.6 mm thickness at a peeling speed of up to 80 m/min. The machine uses a double mechanical chuck clamping system for log holding during the peeling process.
